Ningxia Unisplendour Tianhua Methionine Co., Ltd(Ningxia Unis) was established in June, 2013. Our co***ny planned to invest 6 billion RMB, covers an area of 2 million square meters, produces methionine 200,000 MT/Year as a target capacity. Methionine is the only sulfur-containing one among the eight essential amino-acids, which is a must for livestock and poultry to be obtained from feed, for which can not be biosynthesized by bodies. In 1999, Methionine Production was listed in State¡¯s Key New Product Projects and State¡¯s 863 Bio-engineering Projects. At present, Ningxia Unis is the unique manufacturer of powder DL-Methionine Feed Grade in China.
With the advantage of technology and resource from Chongqing Unisplendour Chemical Co., Ltd, Ningxia Unis cooperated with several universities and research institutes to digest and assimilate the imported advanced techniques of methionine production, to construct the plant with methionine 200,000 MT/Year capacity. During the process, Ningxia Unis completed the research and localization of methanethiol synthesis catalyst, propenal from propylene partial oxidation, optimum designing of key techniques of methionine production, waste treatment techniques for effluvial sulfurous waste and saliferous waste liquid. Ningxia Unis methionine production with own intellectual property rights is an important industrialization of technological innovation. Once project completed, its annual sales income is anticipated to 10 billion RMB, it will furnish employment to more than two thousand skilled hands.
